GET Entertainment Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) establishes the following fundamental policy (“Privacy Policy”) regarding the handling of information related to the privacy of Customers.
The Company considers the protection of privacy of all individuals involved with the Company, including Customers, to be one of its highest management priorities. In handling Personal Data (as defined below), the Company complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of May 30, 2003, Japan) and other applicable laws and regulations of Japan (hereinafter referred to as “Applicable Laws”). This Privacy Policy applies to users of the Company’s services, prospective customers, and users of the Company’s website and content (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Customers”). This Privacy Policy governs the handling of information that directly identifies Customers, such as names, contact details, and dates of birth, cookies and service usage history, as well as information that indirectly identifies Customers (hereinafter referred to as “Personal Data”). Among Personal Data, “Personal Information” refers to “Personal Information” as defined under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
Where the Privacy Policy is provided in multiple languages, the Japanese version shall be regarded as the official version. In the event of any discrepancies, the Japanese version shall prevail.
- Acquisition of Personal Data
The Company acquires Personal Data under the following circumstances:
(1)Customers enter information through device operations.
(2)Customers provide information through written documents, other media, or verbally.
(3)Information is transmitted or provided as a result of Customers’ use or viewing of services, products, applications, web pages, advertisements, or content.
(4)In addition to the above, when Personal Data is lawfully acquired from business partners or third parties to whom Customers have given their consent, or in other legally permissible cases.
- Purpose of Use of Personal Data
The Company acquires and uses Personal Data solely for the following purposes and does not acquire or use it for any other purpose.
(1)Personal Data is used to provide all services operated by the Company, including GET Wallet (hereinafter referred to as the “Services”). Examples of use include:
・Facilitating the transfer, settlement, and management of Digital Assets and monetary funds between the Company and Customers using the Services, as well as managing Customer transactions, managing Customer wallets, and determining or executing the details of transactions with Customers.
・Notifying Customers of the balances of Digital Assets in their wallets provided through the Services, as well as other related information.
・Provision of products, etc., purchased through the Services.
・Billing and payment processing for products and paid services.
・Customer authentication, identity verification, or screening in relation to the use of the Services or inquiries (including the implementation of KYC procedures required under the Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds and other relevant laws, as well as verification for the exclusion of anti-social forces).
・Notifications related to the Services, including maintenance updates and important announcements.
(2)Personal Data is used for advertising, promotion, and marketing. Examples of use include:
・Advertising and promotion of the Company’s services or services provided by third-party advertisers.
・Marketing related to the Company’s or third parties’ products and services.
・Conducting lottery draws and sending prizes for promotional campaigns.
(3)Personal Data is used to improve the Services and consider the development of new services, etc. Examples of use include:
・Planning, designing, and developing improvements to the Services and new services.
・Investigating and analyzing the usage of the Services, as well as creating and publishing statistical data.
・Evaluating the performance of customer support representatives and improving service quality.
(4)Personal Data is used to provide optimal services and content tailored to each Customer (personalization).
(5)Personal Data is used to provide the Services securely. Examples of use include:
・Detecting Customers who violate the Terms of Use and other related rules of the Services and taking necessary measures against violators.
・Investigating, detecting, preventing, and addressing fraudulent activities, such as fraud and unauthorized access using the Services.
・Conducting investigations, detection, monitoring, and reporting or cooperating with relevant authorities to prevent money laundering, terrorist financing, and other related illicit activities.
・Managing Personal Data and ensuring data security.
(6)Personal Data is used to resolve operational or technical issues related to the use and operation of the Services.
(7)Personal Data is used for purposes incidental to those listed in Items (1) through (6) above.
- Provision of Personal Data
The Company provides Personal Data to third parties (including third parties located in foreign countries as stipulated in Article 5.) under the following circumstances, in addition to cases permitted by law.
(1)Cases where it is necessary for dispute resolution or for protecting the rights, property, or other interests of the Company or third parties.
(2)Cases where it is necessary for countermeasures or responses to fraudulent use of the Services or affiliated services (in accordance with the Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds and other applicable laws, the Company may report or provide relevant information to investigative agencies or regulatory authorities upon detecting suspicious or fraudulent transactions).
(3)Cases where Personal Data is provided to a successor entity due to a merger, company split, or other business succession.
(4)Cases where business operations are outsourced to contractors to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use (including cases where the provision of products, etc., purchased through the Services is outsourced to third parties).
(5) Cases where individual consent has been obtained from the Customer.
- Security
The Company handles Personal Data appropriately in accordance with this Privacy Policy. To ensure the proper handling of Personal Data, the Company implements organizational, personnel, physical, and technical security management measures. Examples of such measures include:
・Establishing internal regulations and organizational frameworks for the protection of Personal Data.
・Managing and supervising the handling of Personal Data, as well as conducting regular employee training on its handling.
・Restricting access based on the classification of information according to the importance of Personal Data.
・Implementing access controls and adopting appropriate encryption and hashing technologies.
The Company entrusts the handling of Personal Information to third parties only if they meet the selection criteria established by the Company and enters into contracts with them to ensure the proper management of outsourced operations.
The Company provides Personal Information only to third parties that implement security management measures that meet the standards established by the Company.
In the event of an incident such as a leakage of Personal Data, the Company reports the matter to the relevant regulatory authorities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and follows their instructions to implement necessary measures, including measures to prevent similar incidents and recurrence.
- Handling of Personal Information in Foreign Countries
The Company is a corporation located in the British Virgin Islands (hereinafter referred to as “BVI”). Accordingly, Personal Data of Customers may be stored or processed at the Company’s facilities or servers in BVI, or provided to third parties located in BVI as stipulated in Article 3.
BVI may not have a data protection framework equivalent to that of Japan. However, the Company implements appropriate security management measures to ensure the secure handling of Personal Information in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and the provisions of this Privacy Policy.
As a condition of using the Services, Customers are deemed to have consented to the transfer, storage, and processing of their Personal Data in BVI, as well as the provision of their Personal Data to third parties located in BVI. If it becomes necessary in the future to transfer, store, process, or provide Personal Data to third parties in countries or regions other than BVI, the Company will provide Customers with necessary information through revisions to this Privacy Policy or separate notifications and will take required measures, including obtaining Customer consent, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Handling of Data on Blockchain
The Services may utilize blockchain technology. Due to the characteristics of this technology, transaction information recorded on the blockchain (such as the transaction history of digital assets and wallet addresses), in principle, cannot be deleted or altered once recorded. Additionally, such information may become accessible for viewing and analysis by third parties worldwide.
Customers who conduct transactions on a public blockchain at their own discretion are deemed to have consented to the disclosure of information beyond the Company’s control. Furthermore, Customers acknowledge and fully understand that information on the blockchain, when combined with other data, may generate data that can personally identify them before using the Services.
- Handling of Sensitive Information
The Company does not acquire, use, or provide sensitive information (including “Sensitive Personal Information” as defined under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information) to third parties, except in certain cases, as provided by laws and regulations or guidelines related to personal information protection in the financial sector.
- Handling of Cookies, etc.
The Company uses cookies, etc., on its website and within the Services to enhance user convenience and improve the Company’s website. Additionally, the Company may allow third parties to install cookies, etc., for the purpose of researching service usage patterns or delivering more relevant advertisements to Customers.
- Continuous Improvement of Personal Information Protection
The Company ensures the proper handling of personal information by conducting education on personal information protection for all employees and performing regular audits on handling practices, thereby implementing this Privacy Policy and striving for its continuous improvement.

- Request for Disclosure of Personal Information
If you request the disclosure of Personal Information, please fill out all required fields on the designated application form, attach identification documents, and submit them. A disclosure fee of 1,000 yen plus consumption tax will be charged for each request.
- Revision of the Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be revised. In the event of significant changes, Customers will be notified of the revisions in advance.
